This Policy (together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out how we handle personal information that we collect from you. Please read this policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal information and how we will treat it.

1. COLLECTING AND USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We collect information from you online when you purchase products through our website to ensure a quality online shopping experience and where applicable, to manage your personal or business MYRIEDEL account. You are free to place orders as a guest without a customer account, to register as a new customer, or to purchase products after having logged in to your customer account. The customer account lets you better manage your orders and create wish and gift lists, among other things.
We collect the following types of personal information through our website:
- Information You Give Us: We collect the information you give us, such as your name, billing address, email address, telephone number(s), credit card number, and shipping information (name and address for shipping if it differs from your billing address), when you purchase a product, use a service, participate in a promotion, or register with us for a MYRIEDEL account on our website. You are free to place orders as a guest without a MYRIEDEL account. A MYRIEDEL account lets you better manage your orders and create wish and gift lists, among other things. We may also collect information about someone other than you when you provide it to us, including that person’s name, shipping or mailing address, telephone number, and email address when you purchase a gift or gift certificate or perform a similar transaction for the benefit of a third person on our website. We may collect your personal information when you subscribe to our newsletter through our online store. By doing so, you will receive interesting marketing information about our activities, products and offers by email. Following your initial registration, you will receive a confirmation email, through which you must reconfirm your subscription. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by notifying us accordingly, or by using any unsubscribe facility we provide for that purpose. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
- Information we collect automatically: We automatically collect certain types of information whenever you interact with us on our website, such as your IP address and the type of web browser you use. This information may be linked to personally identifiable information if you have registered with us for a MYRIEDEL account on our website.

- credit information that allows us to complete transactions of RIEDEL products and services;
- updated delivery and address information from our shipping agents and other sources, which allows us to maintain current and accurate records to improve our quality of service for your benefit.

- to complete transactions, track and verify orders and maintain your account settings.

3. INFORMATION SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES
We may share your information with third party service providers, who help us operate our business. This includes the following third parties:
- our shipping service provider, Post Haste. After you have placed your order on our website, we will transfer your shipping information to Post Haste for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
- our payment providers, such as our payment platform provider Adyen N.V., and (if you choose to use them as your payment method) credit card schemes and relevant financial institutions involved in processing a credit card transaction, PayPal and AfterPay.
We require our service providers to take steps to protect your personal information, and do not permit them to use your personal information for their own purposes.
At this time, all third parties referred to above are located within New Zealand, however this may change in the future and if it does, we will update this privacy policy accordingly.
We also may share your personal information when we are permitted or legally required to do so, such as in the case of an investigation, legal process, or other legal proceedings. We may also share information to protect against misuse or unauthorised use of our website. In addition, we may share information to limit our legal liability and to protect our rights or property, our website, or the rights or property of our customers or members of the public.
4. OUR USE OF IP ADDRESSES AND COOKIES
We may collect information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type, for system administration and to report "aggregate information" to our advertisers. "Aggregate Information" is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns that we collect from which individual customer identities have been removed.
For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage through the use of cookies. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our website and to deliver a better and more personalised service.

If you have a MYRIEDEL account, you can access and edit any personal information you have provided by entering your email address and password and using the “Update Account” feature in the “My Account” section.

7. OUR POLICY ON CONTACTING YOU
If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means with information about products and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale to you or where you have consented.
If you are a new customer and where we permit selected third parties to use your data, we (or they) will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this.
If you do not want us to use your data in this way, or to pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes, please tick the relevant box situated on the form on which we collect your data (the order form). 8. EXTENDED DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION FOR GOOGLE ANALYTICS
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States of America.

9. PRIVACY STATEMENT ON THE USES OF FACEBOOK PLUGINS
