We are a well-established, high-end organisation in the Wine Glass industry with a global footprint.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our small but passionate team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage and expand our presence across New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, and Queensland.
This role is responsible for developing existing accounts, securing new business, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, hospitality groups, wineries, and retailers.
This position is based in Sydney; however, regular travel throughout the territory is required as part of the role.
You will be representing three different brands, all experiencing growth and coming with individual IPs, so this is the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your sales career.
About the Role:
The role will run across a few different markets and be split approximately as follows:
- 70% On-Premise (Hospitality/Licensed)
- 20% Wineries
- 10% Retail
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify and secure new accounts to expand market share.
- Work closely with distributors, providing support to drive sales and generate new business opportunities and leads. Ensure all sales and marketing plans are implemented and running at full capacity.
- To further develop opportunities with National Hotel and Restaurant Chains for all brands in your territory and nationally.
- Ensure that all leads and opportunities in your territory are qualified and followed through.
Account Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
- Provide sales forecasts and insights to management.
- Work closely with the administration team to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
Brand Engagement and Training
- Conduct Wine Glass Experience tastings for industry professionals and consumers to highlight the impact of glassware on wine appreciation.
- Train and educate distributors, sales teams, and retail staff on products and brand philosophy.
- Create opportunities for the promotion of RSN Australia’s brands.
This is a field-based role requiring a valid driver's license and a well-presented vehicle, with a car allowance provided. In addition to a competitive salary and super, this position offers uncapped commission and comes with a company-provided iPhone, iPad, and laptop.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a diligent, enthusiastic, and reliable approach. Strong time management and an honest, open nature are essential. You should excel at building strong customer relationships, feel confident presenting to groups, and thrive in an autonomous role, proactively seeking new opportunities and driving results.
What we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years of sales experience in a relevant industry, such as Hospitality
- A strong network and knowledge of the On-Premise market in NSW
- A sound level of wine knowledge is essential, without this, your application won't be considered
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills—confident in leading tastings and product training.
- Self-motivated & proactive, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Experience using CRM platforms & Microsoft Office Suite

- Hohes technisches Verständnis, idealerweise Kenntnisse in der Produktion oder Veredelung von Hohlglas,
- Schwerpunkt manuelle Fertigung von Hohlglas
- Führungs-, Entscheidungs- und Motivationsfähigkeit
- Ausgeprägtes organisatorisches Talent
- Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, ausgezeichnete zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten, professionelles Auftreten und Überzeugungskraft
- Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse auf mindestens Niveau C1
