Welcome in the winter and cooler evenings with two delicious and warming mulled gin recipes - a trendy alternative to classic mulled wine. Perfectly served in the RIEDEL Barware Tumblers, these hot drinks will be the highlight of every convivial round with family or friends.

Wash the peel of an orange with hot water, then dry, grate thinly and set aside.
Press out the juice of 3 oranges and add to a pot, together with the apple juice, cloves, cinnamon bark and grated orange peel. Peel the ginger, cut into thin slices and also add to the pot.
Heat the ingredients and leave to simmer for approx. 15-20 minutes, but do not bring to the boil! Strain the contents of the pot, allow to cool for a little while so that the gin does not turn bitter and separate when combined.
Pour 2cl / 20ml of gin each into two glasses, and top up with mulled juice. Garnish with orange slices and cinnamon bark.

Heat the lemon juice, elderflower syrup and 400 ml of water in a pot, but do not bring to the boil.
Stud the lemon slice with the cloves and together with the cinnamon bark; add to the remaining ingredients and allow to simmer for a short time.
Strain the contents of the pot, allow to cool for a little while so that the gin does not turn bitter and separate when combined.
Pour 4cl / 40ml of gin each into two glasses, and top up with mulled juice.
