For 1 glass

Ingredients

1 teaspoon activated charcoal
Freshly squeezed juice of a half lemon
Maple syrup or honey for sweetness
Sparkling water or soda
Ice
Lemon zest or a twist, for garnish

Preparation

1. In a shaker, combine the lemon juice and agave syrup or honey.
2. Add a pinch of activated charcoal. A little goes a long way!
3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
4. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
5. Top up with sparkling water or soda.
6. Garnish with a twist of lemon zest.
