Produced in the Tokaj wine region in Hungary, these wines are made using Furmint, Yellow Muscat, Hárslevelű, Zéta, Kövérszőlő, or Kabar grape varieties. Dry Tokaji wines have traditionally been produced in a minority compared to sweet Tokajis; however, the introduction of Tokaji Furmint has brought more attention, with these well-aging dry whites displaying an impressive structure and complexity, and bringing flavours of yellow peach, apricot, lemon blossom, and orange rind.
