Mosel-Saar-Ruwer

This German wine-growing region produces wines most famously made from the white Riesling grape, with Elbling and Müller-Thurgau also being used extensively in the region. Rieslings from Mosel are considered to be the best Rieslings in the world, ranging in colour from young pale straw to an aged deep yellow, with young Riesling expressing lime aromas before developing high intensity aromas of honey, apricot, and Meyer lemon.
