Loire (Blanc)

The Loire Valley wine region contains several smaller wine regions that are known for producing fruity wines with crisp and fresh flavours. This most prominent white wine grape variety from this region is the Sauvignon Blanc grape, which dominates the Upper Loire section of the Loire Valley. Chenin blanc is also influential in white Loire wines and helps to produce acidic, fresh wines that age well.
