Côte Rôtie

Located in the northern Rhône wine region in France, this wine Appellation d'origine contrôlée produces wines made largely from the red Syrah grape, with up to 20% of the white Viognier grape also being used. The Syrah grape brings a smell of pepper and leather to the wine, while the presence of Viognier brings floral character and elegance to provide an overall balance.
