Zierfandler
Notably grown in the Thermanregion area of Austria, as well as in Slovakia and Hungary, this grape variety is used to make white wine. Traditionally blended with Rotgipfler, ripe Zierfandler has a richness to it that matches with subtle honey aromas and a balanced acidity. Zierfandler wines typically possess a good aging potential and pair well with spicy cuisine as well as signature Austrian white asparagus and cheeses.
