Native to and grown widely in the south-eastern and south-central United States, these grapes can range from black, to dark purple, to bronze in colour. Muscadines are known to have very large berries and thrive in hot conditions. This grape primarily produces sweet wines that possess intense aromas that include ripe banana, bruised apples, cranberry, and lime peel.
