Muscadet
Made in the Pays de la Loire region at the western end of the Loire Valley, this white wine is produced using the Melon de Bourgogne grape. These light-bodied, crisp wines typically peak after three years of aging, and traditionally pair beautifully with oysters. Muscadet also pairs well with seafood like lobster and shrimp, and with creamy foods that the acidity of the wine is able to cut through.
