LBV (Late Bottled Vintage)
This title refers to a popular ruby Port of high quality from a single vintage that is bottled after four to six years of aging in wooden barrels and can be enjoyed directly. Unlike a Vintage Port that ages only 2 years in barrel and then continues to age in bottle. Late Bottled Vintage Ports are intended to offer the same quality of a Vintage Port at a lower price and are known for their depth of flavor and balance of fruit and tannin.
