Côtes de Provence
Recognised as an Appellation d'origine contrôlée since 1977, this is the largest appellation of the Provence region in south-eastern France, accounting for 75% of wine production from the region. The majority of Côtes de Provence's output is rosé, made largely from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsaut grapes, while red and white wines comprise 15% and 5% of wines respectively.
