Morillon (oaked)

A synonym for Chardonnay, this green-skinned grape used to produce white wine originates from the Burgundy region of France, but is now grown worldwide. Morillons aged in oak absorb the oak's flavours and colour, giving them a darker yellow colour and often distinct vanilla flavours that balance the wine's natural fruitiness. This fuller Morillon pairs well with fish dishes that are accompanied by a creamy sauce or soft cheese.
