Santenay

Produced in Santenay and Remigny in Côte de Beaune of Burgundy, these Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée status wines are primarily made from Pinot noir, but white wines are also produced from Chardonnay grapes. Red wines from this appellation are dark-coloured and possess cherry flavours with hints of liquorice in the bouquet. The white Chardonnay wines produced are fresh and floral, with notes of hazelnut and bracken emerging on the palate.
