Sauvignon Blanc (unoaked)
Originating in the Bordeaux region of France, this green-skinned grape is one of the most widely grown grapes in the world. Unoaked Sauvignon blancs that have fermented in stainless steel are the most commonly seen expressions of this grape. Unoaked versions of this grape are high in acidity, carry strong aromas of citrus and gooseberry, and pair well with shellfish, salads, and soft cheeses.
