Gamay
This red wine grape variety is notably grown in the United States, Canada and, mostly famously in the Beaujolais and the Loire Valley wine regions in France. Wines produced from Gamay, such as Bourgogne Passe-Tout-Grains and Beaujolais nouveau are usually light-bodied, with fruits like strawberries and cherries prevailing in the aroma, and are best enjoyed after a moderate period of aging.
