Sémillon
Originating in the French region of Bordeaux, this white wine grape variety is most widely grown in its native country and in Australia. Dominant in a few French AOC wine regions, Sémillon is a popular grape with winemakers and is used in the production of both sweet and dry wines. The Sémillon grape is quite low in acidity and delivers flavours of apples, lemons, pears, and green papaya.
