Rosé Champagne

Traditionally coloured by brief contact with the skins of Pinot noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, Rosé Champagnes are noticeably pinker than Blanc de Noirs Champagne. and account for up to 5% of the annual production from the Champagne region. Modern techniques involve adding red wines to regular Champagnes during blending to make Rosé Champagnes that some winemakers claim make for a superior-aging Champagne.
