Valpolicella
This wine appellation is located in the province of Verona in north Italy and produces four distinct styles of red wine: Amarone, which is dry and richly textured; Valpolicella Ripasso, a wine with distinct spice and cherry notes; Recioto, the sweetest local wine, and Valpolicella, a lively and accessible wine. These red wines from Valpolicella are made using the Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara grape varieties.
