Grenache Blanc/Granacha Blanca
Mostly found in Rhône wine blends and in the Catalonian region of Spain, this variety of white grape developed from the red Grenache grape. Grenache Blanc is sensitive to oxidation, so wines produced are often full-bodied, low in acidity and exhibit citrus or herbaceous notes. Grenache Blanc pairs well with richly spiced dishes, chicken, soft cheeses and, unlike many white wines, rich meats such as lamb.
