Marsala can be dry or sweet and is commonly used for both sipping and while cooking in order to create rich sauces. Marsala wines commonly have flavours of brown sugar, apricot, vanilla, tobacco, and tamarind and pair well with foods such as sprouts and asparagus, as well as chocolate.
